I have two of the double stack versions and I have carried them, and trust themīersa makes some good pocket 380's I did not see a 9 MM Single stack. I think you are not a Taurus Fan, but I have seen these advertised for $179 which definitely makes them cheap enough to shoot 500 rounds and truly decide for yourself. (My CW-380 is ammo picky, but I know what it likes) The Taurus G2s (Revised 709 Slim) has a external safety and a odd trigger. The Kahr CW-9 is a FINE (as in real good) pistol, but has no external safety that you may be seeking. The Colt Defender is a 3" 8+1 9 MM actual 1911, might be too big for pocket and too big for wallet, but resale on a Colt is always good. my Colt Mustang XSP (now Mustang Lite), the recoil seems a good bit softer in my Colt (similar operation to the Sig 238 and Springfield 911, but the grip itself would be slightly different) I still wear the RM380 on my ankle quite often. In addition to the Sigs, I have carried a Kimber Micro 9 in 9mm and 380, a Solo, Springfield 911 (also in both 9 and 380), RM380 and a Colt Mustang. I have a minor obsession with small 9mm and 380 Auto pistols. If I compare felt recoil (To me personally and very subjective) in my LCP II Vs. The 238/938 are also among my favorites when I want to carry light. Ruger really has no other single stack pocket 9. the LC9 series including the EC9s have more felt recoil than others. The Pro had no magazine or external safeties and that was what I wanted. I have a LC9s Pro for my single stack, but all you can get today is the EC9s with all the safeties. I personally would like one and not be afraid to buy. The 238 and 938 have a few detractors too, but most seem well loved. I would think they are very similar to the Sig 938, except cheaper. If you keep a loaded firearm where a child obtains and improperly uses it, you may be fined or sent to prison. Some are having trouble with the 380 911's, but they seem to be newbs to the shooting world, some are not, but most seem to be.
